
Prateek Garg is an entrepreneur and Innovative Finance Lead at Open Source Pharma Foundation. He works at the intersection of global health, biotechnology, and finance, developing new models to advance affordable drug and vaccine development. A Pershing Square Scholar at the University of Oxford, he completed the Oxford 1+1 dual degree program with MSc Global Health and MBA, and previously trained in synthetic biology at the University of Paris as a Bettencourt Scholar. At OSPF, Prateek leads the work on innovative financing for repurposing off-patent drugs and vaccines, and leads the organization’s efforts in developing pathogen-agnostic vaccines for future pandemics. Previously, as co-founder and CEO of Unibiome, he developed rationally designed probiotics to address malnutrition in remote and resource-limited communities.
